My husband, Eric, and I started our new online shop because like so many other bird lovers, we enjoy watching the birds in our backyard and in their natural habitats. We live in a small town in Lancaster County, PA, and love living here. We partnered with a wonderfully talented Mennonite craftsman who helped us get our start. With our designs and his knowledge, we were able to begin this new journey. We are now able to build many of our houses with the guidance of our good friend, Luke. We began this venture so that in our future retirement, we would have a bit of a nest egg:) and something to do to fill our time. Eric and I hope you like and enjoy our products, as our birdhouses embody what living in the Lancaster County countryside is all about. Recycling old barn wood and tin preserves the memory of the ones who built and used these barns and outbuildings, As the saying goes...They don't make'em like they used to.
